According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, addiction is a complex but treatable disease that affects brain function and behavior. It is estimated that 19.7 million Americans aged 12 or older had a substance use disorder in 2017. Pro Recovery Power offers a range of services and resources to help individuals struggling with addiction and mental health issues. These include counseling, support groups, and referrals to treatment centers. The nonprofit also provides education and awareness programs to schools, workplaces, and community organizations. "We believe that addiction and mental health issues are not a sign of weakness, but rather a disease that requires treatment and support," said Alika Gambill who is the Founder. We hope that our efforts will encourage more people to seek the help they need and reduce the stigma surrounding addiction and mental illness."
